The latest version of the Bosch Recording Station gives users more power and versatility when managing their entire security infrastructure. The Bosch Recording Station 8.9 now supports as many as 64 IP cameras per station as well as up to eight digital ADAM I/O modules.

A number of new software features make the Bosch Recording Station particularly suitable for banking installations. An automatic log-off, with a configurable time interval of inactivity, increases protection against unauthorized access. Also, two different pre- and post-alarm recording times can be set for each camera, while audio can be configured by event. An alternative licensing model enables customers to build a hardware independent system, using a unique computer signature via a USB dongle.

Further enhancements include improved authorization level configuration and the ability to change the connection to Bosch VIP devices from UDP to TCP format.

Interfacing with a wide range of other security systems – such as fire and access panels, ATM terminals, number plate capture and video content analysis solutions – the Bosch Recording Station provides quick and easy access to information from anywhere in the network. This latest release offers an even more convenient, scalable management system that allows numerous locations to be monitored simultaneously.
