Liverpool Catholic Club is one of the largest Clubs in South Western Sydney encompassing a 40 acre site that includes Gymnasium and ice skating rink as well as a newly build Hotel as well as Cricket and football grounds.
The Club itself has expanded significantly in recent years and now boasts four restaurants as well as a function centre that can accommodate in excess of 1000 people seated for dinner.

The existing auditorium was built in the early nineties and was one of the first venues in Australia to have a DDA CS3 installed in. At the time the install also included Electro Voice EQ 231 equalisers. In recent years the trusty old DDA has been upgraded to a Midas Verona. Currently house technician Paul Duncan is in the process of upgrading the equalisers to new Square One equalisers. The first unit changed over was across the first two foldback sends. On its first gig Viviene the lead vocalist in the regular band commented straight away at how much better her foldback sounded. The Square One equaliser has proven to be an ideal choice throughout the Club market particularly across monitors where its high and low pass filters have allowed for significantly better control.

Paul Duncan (Liverpool Catholic Club A/V operator) commented that it was a real joy to adjust a fader and actually hear something change. At the time of writing two equalisers have been changed over with a third to happen next month.
