Bosch security Systems and Bank VTB, a member of the VTB Group have signed a contract according to which Bosch assumes obligations to develop a system of engineered security features in the bank's new office in Moskva City's Federation Tower. the project will include design, supply, installation and debugging of a full range of devices necessary for building security, from equipment and expendables to software. The project has started and will be closed mid-2009.

"This will be one of the largest projects ever taken by Bosch Security Systems" said Alexander Rimsky, regional director ST for the CIS. "We will use state-of-the-art and fully localised Bosch Security solutions for a unique, integrated security system."

The security system includes intrusion alarm, video surveillance systems and access control systems as well as a system for collection, processing and display of data. It uses the latest transmission and storage protocols. The system is unique in that it combines flexibility, scalability, reliability and durability of components.

The intrusion system is based on high resolution colour network IP cameras and eleven UGM 2020 monitoring panels connected to a data circle. It includes thousands of motion detectors, magnetic contacts and other detection systems.

The data collection and processing portion of the security system is based on network IP technology with the use of hot standby of the system kernel. Accordingly, security personnel have instant access to full and reliable information for all emergencies and critical events at the facility.

The access control system is based on the Access Engine of Bosch's Building Integration System (BIS), state-of-the-art network technology and a software module that integrates the security and building automation systems.
