Access Personal Edition has a three-tiered structure: a data management system at the top, intelligent Access Modular Controllers (AMC) in the middle, and up to 64 access readers on the bottom level. All top-level data is also redundantly stored in the AMCs and readers, providing protection if the data management system ever fails. It is the ideal entry level solution for small and medium sized companies - and it grows with the your security needs.
